I can't tell you how much I've learned and grown from this. I re-did some of my earlier blocks because I've become a better piecer from watching and listening to all of you. I really want to do another group project when this one is done (don't hit me!) Just no applique-hate to applique.
Oh I agree Jan - I hate applique too.
Both of you..I'm in.. but no applique!

Oh how I envy anyone who can needle turn applique, I have tried it once, took me 10 years to finish 9 blocks lol....
Would love to see this project through to the end, quilted and bound. Yes I agree, since we hit the halfway mark it seems it is going very fast to the finish line.
The best part has been the wonderful support from everyone on the message board.

Here's my next ones. I had to wait until I found the fabric I picked out for 69. I lost it for a couple of weeks!

QNonnie ... great blocks added to the already lovely ones from the earlybirds! :)

    Love all the different colours.

Weezie ... nice switch there with that centre block switch. What a different look, and I do like it!

Glad that we're all on the same page with our love-hate relationships with applique. I haven't noticed any in PC yet ... though maybe we'd sooner have applique than Y-seams?
