    QN, Nice fabric & blocks!

QuiltE, I looked and looked at all the blocks to see what you were talking about re: my center block switch; I'm completely amazed ... I never realized that it was different.

    It must have been subliminal!
And your colour is so perfect ... the two together really made for a rich looking block!

Hey, Didn't you learn one of the most basic techniques in sewing when you first learned how to sew? stop, staystitch, needledown, pivot and continue. Anne

#69 -- Practical Orchard -- not enough contrast and maybe a little too bizarre!
    and
#70 -- Prairie Queen -- A Christmas touch here! Today I made 15 swags with pine boughs for all the doors throughout my home plus a large pine wreath for my verandah. While doing so, I was thinking quilting and that the Farmer's Wife needed to have some Christmas fabric, so decided I'd find my pine fabric, tonight. The cream background is a Christmas metallic too.

QNinaSue, love the "farm" related fabrics you are putting in!
QNonnie, another nice pair of blocks.
QE, the contrast is great enough in the Orchard block, just a different take with the fabrics. Will be a nice change in the quilt. Would love to see PQ, IRL. Time for a walk with family!

Oh the black one really caught my eye. It will be a nice complement to the black coral print.
