Very pretty blocks Evie. I really like the beige fabric with the tiny red flowers--I'm looking for something like that for my cornerstones (I think--I change my mind daily LOL)

I've looked at all these blocks, many times before, but now as I make them I am trying to not look at them ... and come up with my own colour combos. I'm enjoying looking at all the different beauties you gals have created, as I post mine.

I did the Rainbow Flowers back in June ... and now I'm not really thrilled with it!! Especially when I see the lovelies that you ladies created. I'm not going to remake it now, though it might be on the list for later, particularly when it's such a simple block to re-do!!

I'm pleased with the Ribbons ... the background is the same orangeish fabric I used for the Bat Wing. I chose the fabrics for this one, to try to get that lonesome fussy-cut butterfly block not looking like a sore thumb.

It's so interesting to see all the color combinations!

Evie, how many fabrics did you buy for your r/bl/ and beige combo? Did you use the same fabric line?

Here are my blocks. I did not enjoy putting together #74. I did a lot of unsewing--a hard thing to do repeatedly with paper piecing. Well it's done. I do like the colors though.

I find #73's colors interesting. I'm not sure I'd pick that combo again. I think it's too medium with not enough contrast. But it's done also.

Picking the fabrics can be a chore at times ...we learn as we go along. Your fabrics are very pretty and the blocks are pretty too!

Nicely done, QNonnie. I am a blue person, so the second one really appeals to me. Setting them straight rather than on point like QuiltE's really changes the second one, too.

QNonnie ... oooooh nice! I really like that shade of blue, so like OKSGlad, it grabs my attention!

OKSGlad ... my first blocks I was leaving square, then I decided to start looking at them on point, as I'll probably be doing that when I join them all together.

Honchey ... I know what you mean!! I am sure there are times I spend more time choosing my fabric, than it takes to make the block.

Evie ... I can't wait to see your Blacks, Whites, and Reds all put together! It's going to be so stunning. Nudge-Nudge!!!!
