Anne, we all appreciate you're doing this--honest, if you're late, we'll wait for ya!!
Block 79 was interesting for me. I had just finished a Star Spin/Crazy Eights wall hanging. All the pieces I used in block 79 were left over sections from my wallhanging. I just had to cut them into the right shape. I thought that was kind of neat (doesn't take much to amuse me).
Here's the link to my wall hanging: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-103592-1.htm

Love the color JanRN. Working on the rows , arranged my blocks on my visual board in the suggested "queen" layout and sewing the blocks into "rows" then extending them into the king size. Was going to start the hand quilting, but failed in first three attempts to thread the needle...eye of the needle too small to see and hands would not work to pick up the needle very well. Oh well, will try again later today.

Yes, I liked the blocks of 79 & 80. I dressed our girls in pink when they were small and so "cute". They both hate pink today, but they have never given birth to girls either or they would understand. And the boy would never wear demin. Youthful visions do not always carry into real life.
