As always, you Ladies, never fail to disappoint with some lovelies to see!!!
It was fun to read your comments, as started to talk about PC and your plans. Hope that "yinz" all have fun ... and take a trip down memory lane and read the earlier posts, eh! (Had to add the eh! for some Canuck-speak along with the Pittsburgh-speak! )
As I worked on mine, I kept wondering, was there such a thing as a Temperance Tree? Was it a logo for the temperance movement? And then with WCTU (#99) soon to follow?
#95 -- Temperance Tree -- kind of Christmasy!
and
#96 -- Tulip -- Guess you could say, this is one block that I didn't "get" as I didn't see the tulip in those two pieces of fabric, til I checked this thread as I posted to it. I sure wish that I had snooped earlier to I think I'd be happier if I'd not used so many reds, and kept all the fabrics lighter and then punched out those two pieces that made the tulip, with something bold and vivid. Oh well, C'est la vie!!!

You've got to admit that at least the temperance tree looks like a tree! Yours is grand; I like the green material.
Your tulip is just fine. I think all of us wish we could re-do blocks once we see the results or see others. I, myself, have only re-done one block. Some I have completed and found that certain parts are pointing the wrong way, the colors are wrong, etc. Just relax and know that with 111 blocks, not one is going to stand out. No one is going to know the mistakes unless you give them the book and have them compare each block to the design in the book!

Ha! No way they're getting the book to check it out!!!
Yes this tree looks like a tree ... though I don't get the colour placement in Laurie's block in the book. And I don't see the semblance of the squares piled up on top of the tree!
BTW Did you see the beige/gold fabric .... silhouette trees!
This was a fun one to do and I so like the red fabric I used that has the gold splatters in it.

As always beautiful blocks. I can't help but hear how much each of you have learned from this trip whether it's fabric selections or piecing techniques. I know the few I have done I have improved in sewing and matching. Great job, all. I will get there sometime!
