bchuggins – Wow, seeing all those colors immediately brought a smile to my face. It’s like opening a new box of crayola crayons; beautiful!

Elle – those are gorgeous! And the quilt they are laid over makes me drool!!

Pat – You sure have been busy. I love how balanced your colors are. They are warm and cuddly colors.

Geesh...I took the camera downstairs but haven't actually managed to take any photos yet. I'm going to go finish the block I'm working on and take a photo so I can get it posted. That way there's proof I've actually been working on my Dear Jane. ;)

Patti, as someone said they are all warm and cuddly your colours, I love the reds and golds together.

Mine look fine because I literally just picked the colours out of the box as I went, absolutely no colour choices just sheer luck they happen to go together.

Tiffany, I bought that in Dallas the quilt you are drooling over in a shop, not hand made either and it was so cheap I just had to have it.

 A gorgeous, cheap quilt...makes me want to head out shopping!

I'm just picking colors too. I threw out my color scheme when I realized that was what was holding me up & I'm just grabbing out of my scrap bag. I've only got 19 of them done so far but here they are.

It won't let me edit my post for some reason so I'm adding another right behind my last one.

As you can see, several of the blocks are not quite complete yet and I'm going to redo one of them. I'll keep plugging away and this autumn when my local guild has its annual retreat, this will be the only thing I take to work on. Since I'm planning on doing the 'quilt-as-you-go' method, I'm hoping to get a lot of them quilted too. I haven't bothered with the triangles yet. I made one to make sure I could do it but I need to resize them with the software and I haven't gotten that far yet. I keep hoping to get caught up on the regular blocks first.

Tiff...you sure must have one heck of a nice scrap bag! Your blocks look wonderful, but then I knew they would. I don't see anything that needs to be redone :D

You probably don't need to "resize" your tris"...if you are using the 4.5" blocks..just click on"size from quilt" under options and it will set the tris at 5 x 8 which is the correct size if you are doing 4.5" blocks with sashing.
