Love your block! I am going to use the plain copypaper that you and hobbykat1955 suggested. I used freezer paper last time and it was nice that the first piece ironed on so nicely to give you the start, but the freezer paper made it a little harder to iron. The farmhouse has so many pieces that I'm not convinced there would have been a big advantage to ironing it on.

Just use a flat head pin to hold fabric to copy paper...works fine

never saw a answer...so I am anxious to finally start these blocks. So many beautiful inspiring blocks being posted.
I print my pp projects on Tracing Paper. I purchase it at Hobby Lobby when I have 40% off coupon. I trim the 9x12 size paper to 8 1/2 x 12 and print right on the paper. The paper is in the Art dept. I simply can't make a straight block without pp. I really love it, and try to convert as many patterns as I can to pp. (50 sheets for $4.99 w/coupon would be only $2.99) Works for me.
I first printed my pattern templates on regular copy paper to be sure the proportions were correct, then copied them onto freezer paper that I trimmed to 8 1/2 x 11. Easy, and I didn't have to buy anything more.

This is the one and only farmhouse block for my quilt. It's wonky, and I just realised I missed a piece entirely, but it is done. :?

For those who were asking, the tiny little piece under the house is missing, the piece with the step riser, between the step and the path. Mine has a ramp directly to the path. Maybe I need to applique a childs bike or pram in there soomewhere. Must think on that some more. Good job to everyone who has finished so far.

I see some of my Texas neighbors are hanging around. I live in Richmond and work in Sugar Land. We have probably passed each other in the aisles at Joann's..
I live in Pecan Grove and also shop at the Quilter's Cottage. I always get good advice from the ladies there. I would like to take a class there. I have just come back to quilting in the last year and would love to sharpen my skills. I am a self taught quilter and could really benefit from a class. I teach at Fort Bend Baptist Academy and travel much of the summer to visit our grandchildren so there isn't alot of extra time for taking classes.
