I used to bypass any quilt pattern that had pp because I didn't know how to do it and was too intimidated to give it a try. After these first two BOM blocks, I now feel confident that I could try just about anything that comes my way. I think that's really added to my fun here. :-D :-D

I decided to join this BOM (my first) and am now hooked on paper piecing. I think it's a love/hate relationship, though. (Reminds me that I need to get a new seam ripper, mine is too dull, haha)
I love how everyone's block is so unique. I think I will try to add embellishments to mine while waiting for March 1st.
Thanks again to everyone and I'll see you in the morning.

P.S. Also included a picture of my church block.

All the farmhouses are so unique - love seeing the details & different interpretations (esp. the parrot LOL) My SILs are doing one with me so I waiting for them - Thurs. is our quilting together day so maybe this week I too can be on display on Batikqltr's slide show.
