I used to bypass any quilt pattern that had pp because I didn't know how to do it and was too intimidated to give it a try. After these first two BOM blocks, I now feel confident that I could try just about anything that comes my way. I think that's really added to my fun here. :-D :-D
Gorgeous with a capital G! love both of your blocks! Stunning!

Nice block. just wondering, how did you place the gate and the pots on the side? Are they fussy cut and appliqued or are they prints in the fabrics you used?

I would never have attemped this block, but with everyone here helping, it was actually fun (even if kind of wonky). Something happend to the left side, not sure why, but on to the next challenge!

We have 21 Farmhouse in our slide show on Photobucket.

I decided to join this BOM (my first) and am now hooked on paper piecing. I think it's a love/hate relationship, though. (Reminds me that I need to get a new seam ripper, mine is too dull, haha)
I love how everyone's block is so unique. I think I will try to add embellishments to mine while waiting for March 1st.
Thanks again to everyone and I'll see you in the morning.

P.S. Also included a picture of my church block.

Welcome. WOW! Love your blocks. Love your church with the lovely windows! Gorgeous.
