I agree with you that there are loads of beautiful blocks here but I am sure yours will be as beautiful if not more; plain or not! Looking forward to seeing your creation!

As we all know sometimes "Plain" stands out more just plain and simple...and that's not a bad thing....

Don't worry about thinking yours may be plain. This quilt will have such a variety of blocks by the time we're done that it can't help but have great character. I know yours will turn out beautifully!

the grains in your woods are perfect! you're a natural for PP - all line up well.

It's been ready for a while now but I have been hesitating about posting my block. I got carried away. I am not too sure if my block still qualifies to be a farmhouse! But I thought I should post the picture and see what feedback I get and learn from it for next time! So please give me your views so I can learn for next time.

Very cute...and the beauty of quilting is your own interpetation. I did a second block and totally renovated the block, left out the tree, made a picture window on top...call it my Quilters Cottage Farmhouse because I put a quilting scene in the window. There is no right or wrong...
And remember we all learn diff things by seeing what others do.
