i had to lengthen my porch roof by about an inch. kept not gettin the 2nd story on straight. i think because my seams were a little scant. so the house was a little wider than it was suppose to be. and i remembered something someone else had said, add extra on the sides to make it a 12 inch block, so i just was adding the extra to the orginal pieces. and we all can embellish after we get them done. right?????

You should be extremely happy with your farm house block, it looks terrific to me!! I love the color of your tree, it is so striking. You did a very nice job, too!!

I sure hope you didn't pull out to much hair!! :D Your farm house block is great!! If you decide to add a mailbox, I think it would look really great. You have done a great job!!

You are supposed to say, "please note my nice landscaping" and nobody would ever know.

Great Job on your farm house block!! I like your tree being round, as it makes it have a totally different look. If you look at my farm house block, you will see that it isn't perfect either, but who cares. We are just in it for all of the fun of sewing & sharing together!!

Thanks SulaBug for kind comments. The hair actually is getting pretty thin anyhow, perhaps I just pulled mostly loose ones.

I like the idea of a mail box. Maybe I'll "borrow" the idea. OK? That porch was hard to line up which is why I pieced my tree last, so I could move that porch and upper story over. But, the craziness of it all is the fun part.
