    The birds in the tree are a nice touch, and I love the contrast between the pillars and the dark porch floor. Nice block!

    Thanks! I was thinking it was a little too busy. But I love that background fabric too. I bought some yardage to go with an oak leaf quilt I will make some day, it has great fall colours.

    Your tree trunk looks like real bark & I like the hills in your background. Who cares if there's no doorknob - got to keep those noisey neighbor kids out somehow. lol
