My FIL still lives in a house much like this one that my DH grew up in. His mom has a pink rose hedge and when we bought our old farm house ten years ago he planted a rose hedge for me.
The second picture is my oldest daughter reading a love letter in front of the rose hedge.

I can't believe so many people have already gotten their farmhouse finished and I haven't even started. Probably won't get to it for another week or so as company is coming and I won't be able to sew. Guess the end of the month will be really busy for sewing.
Everyone that has posted pictures have done a great job. Just think how much more inspiration we will have in another week.

I just set up the "2011 FARM HOUSE" slide show so we can watch as we go this month. I will check each day for new pictures, but if I accidently miss one, please let me know and I will add it in. We are getting more creative, so should be a lot of fun seeing them all.
