That's great too, Lauren. It is so interesting to see the ingenuity of all the quilters in making something as simple as a star.

I am not doing this BOM, but I wanted to let everyone know how much I am enjoying seeing everyone's vision for this block...love them all so far :-)

Here my friendship block, I went back and forth on the fabric then I saw mmonohon's comment about cat fabric and I thought of my flyin pig fabric! I am leaning towards starry pigs in space as the quilt name.

Here is my Friendship Star--it is 12" but looks smaller in the picture. It's not as pretty all of the other ones that were posted but it is what it is.

It's very pretty!! I asure you it's going to be better than what I attempt!! Keep up making the BOM stars, put them together and you'll have a beautiful quilt!

arbed31, I think your star is wonderful. This is such a simple little star that it's hard to get too creative. I hope you will enjoy working on the future stars with us. I know I'm looking forward to doing them all.
