Today is not a good day for pictures. I must have taken 20 or more trying to get a good one (I hope). Here is my star block.

Did you PP the last one?? I love how you did it would like to try it myself ???
Yes I PP'd it to get the sharp points. I love sharp points and find pp gets that done well.

I'm new at pp. My church block was the first. How did you pp the star? Did you draw out your own star and go from there?
I draw all my pp patterns out and plan my piecing myself.

Okay, finally got mine together...after the 3rd try. For some reason the 41/2" blocks were too small, so did the half triangle blocks by using two 7" squares right sides together and sewing all around and cutting them corner to corner. My blocks came out right then. Hope you enjoy. Now lets see if picture is with it.

Those stars are sooooo cute. Just absolutely adore them. I have that idea on the back burner and have been thinking about it for a while but have not got the umph! to get going. It is beautiful!
