P.S. I'm looking around the house for something to keep the blocks and instruction in...any suggestions?
    Thank you!

Here is my first Friendship Star. I will make another for the BOM. One can't have too many friends.

I came up one short in a birthday quilt. This was my 'fix.'

Oh they are all looking so pretty!! Here is my block. I wanted to do black and a silvery but had not silver in my stash. I like it though. Very easy to do. (Secretly: I am glad it wasn't paper piecing! :) )

They are all soooooo pretty. David I love your nautical theme. If you have a pizza parlor close to you, they might sell you a pizza box for a small price (they're the perfect size to keep blocks in. I have plastic containers that I bought at Costco (I think it was a package of four) that I keep the fabric and completed blocks in for projects I am doing. You can also buy at the sporting goods store some square plastic containers that work well (this was a tip from my SIL - I actually spent a small fortune for the same thing at Joann's). It's really nice to have your fabric and completed blocks together when you're working on a project.

Great job all on the completed blocks. This was such an easy block it's going to seem like a long month til the next one is posted (that is unless you're doing the house BOM also - that will keep you busy in between stars).

I love all the stars! Great job everyone! It will be a couple of days before my fabric comes in and I can do mine, but I guess I have all month... ;-)

For future blocks you can use a clean pizza box. I use them to store blocks for WIP and keep my supplies for projects togather.
