My blocks came out right then. Hope you enjoy. Now lets see if picture is with it.
I was informed that I probably wasn't using 1/4 scant, which is true, so tried another with scant 1/4". It pays to read and not go by picts. alone.
    Looking good!

I agree with you. Everyone is so talented and I have picked up lots of good advice and tips here. The colours and variety are simply stunning! I can't stop looking and I am not sure that that is healthy? :? I wish I'd found quilting board sooner! Thank you everyone.

Got my star done today! I am loving this BOM, thanks Judy for choosing a nice and quick star to make

    So excited about February already!

The "white" fabric is actually a batik with blues and purples, the photo doesn't show it well.

I was thinking the same thing about the 12" squares. I was thinking that a person could reduce all of them but that would be too complicated for me. If it were all paper piecing you could just reduce on the printer but for others, I'm not experienced enough to figure them all out. On second thought, I guess 12" sounds just fine. :-D
I have decided to make only ONE of each star and that should then make a single bed quilt. Will be lovely in the end. Did not take long to make block one, so can easily SQUEEZE it amongst the other projects... :-P Good luck with yours.
