    Missouri Star
    Kentucky Chain

These all matched the ones in the Pioneer Sampler Book. Looking for the others online.
    Marcia also has:

    Prairie Queen
    Delectable Mountains
Drunkard's Path (also called Solomon's Puzzle)
Twisting Star (also called Wings of Eagles)
    Children of Israel
Jacob's Ladder (and a second version she calls Four Patch Ladder)
    Joseph's Coat
    Walls of Jerico
Rose of Sharon (for those of us who like to applique)

All these are are biblical names that reflect the importance of a spiritual life for our pioneer foremother's . Life was really hard and they must have turned to the bible often.

I'm loking for a block called Garden of Eden. It is a simple one with diamonds in a square in each corner. The center is a wide cross with a small square at the center of the cross. Does anyone know where to find a 12 inch version of it?

Really love this block and everyone's fabric selections - but

what the heck is bj's backward strip? I keep looking and don't

see anything different on her block. Please tell me it's not obvious....

    Hi Pal,
bj's error is not obvious. If she had not pointed it out, no one would have noticed. :D

I agree with you. All these blocks are simply marvelous. The color choices everyone has used are simply 'eye candy'. - BEAUTIFUL!

so far, the Brackman encyclopedia is the single best book-buy i've ever made in the quilting category.

    $150? FOR ONE BOOK?

Now way, Jose'. it's less than 200 pages long and there are other books out there on the same topic for far less.

it's on amazon for $118 and up.

Here is my Hole in the Barn Door. Love the white on white floral with the dark green fern leaves.
