I didn't really plan my tris because I was using odds and ends of batiks for them, plus a few new ones, and some from the centre blocks, and I couldn't see how to plan them.
It wasn't until I had sort of half way complete rows of tris that I could lay them out and see what looked unbalanced, plus make sure that a tri using a centre block fabric wasn't next to a block using the same.

Aah, but you are avoiding this problem because you aren't doing the tris in the first place!

Since you are using Asian fabrics, perhaps you need to look around for a super duper print.

Well yes you could, only then I would give up I think, this quilt is the biggest project I have ever done as I guess most of you too. However it wonīt beat me thats for sure (fighting talk).

I think personally I need to invest in EQ7. OR should I get 5 or 6 to start me off ? HELP I need your words of wisdom please.
