Do you mean the bottom left block, Esq? I pieced those diamonds, then appliqued them to the background. I figure I could have just appliqued the blue diamonds, but I thought I would get a better look this way.

Yes, that's what I did Patti. I have done quite a lot like that now, and some I have done two sets, then cut out a circle from one, and appliqued it to the background set. Uses a bit more fabric, but much easier to do than lots of curved seams.

Mama and Lacey your blocks are beautiful. I'm not so sure that triangle looks all that easy though.

Retro, those look wonderful!!

The longer I look at ya'll's blocks, I figure out a better way to do them than how I originally planned. I think thats a good thing!
