Oh my Sheree..is that you in your avatar? I had an entirely different image in my head...funny how that comes out, isn't it?? You were more hippie-ish looking with long, long blond hair, probably about 45ish, tallish. It's not at all on the avatar, but you are just as beautiful as my made-up image of you!!! Thanks for the new picture!

Thank you for your kind words. I hate my picture but think it's nice to see who you're talking to! HaHa. I'm 54, 5'10 and have gained 65lbs this past year and a half after my third failed back surgery. It sucks but it is what it is right now. It's nice to have friends that luv ya anyway! Hugs, Sheree

Thanks Sara. Naturally, I'm doubting using the 3 fabrics as it does make it different and I like everyone elses better!!

Sheree....you have doubts and you love everyone else's blocks better?????? Well...girl, join the club...maybe we all suffer that little niggle of doubt, but YOUR blocks are gorgeous! (as are you, sporting that new avatar :-D ). I'm thinking that we are all just gonna have to make LOTS of these quilts just so we can try other colorways

Well, I was right on the tall part...the age wasn't too far off either. You look beautiful to me, but I certainly can appreciate the frustration with weight gain, particularly when it's from an injury like your back...that must be doube the frustration - extra weight is not good on the back, but you can't really move enough to get it off. Oh well, thank goodness you have these beautiful blocks and quilts to feel good about, and of course, you know we all love ya no matter what!!!

By the way, do you know who makes that orange/red batik you used? I wouldn't mind scouting for a little of it to put into my stash....
