Finally, I have my first set of blocks...I am starting with Week 6 and plan to go forward on schedule (hopefully) and play catch up, as fast as I can, with the past 5 weeks. I will post my blocks when they are done. I didn't know about this group until January, by the time I ordered the software and fabric...anyway, finally I have started my DJ.

Thank you Sheree & Janstar...I have been reading the postings and admiring all the pictures of the blocks. I have to say they are more difficult than I expected, it will be a learning experience! I am happy to have the support. My first tri, wrong size, wrong all over...it will grow up to become a coaster instead of a quilt!

Oh Wihelmina, your blocks are beautiful!! I am so happy you are joining the group, and i think your idea about starting at week 6 and playing catch up is a great one! You can add one or two to each week and be caught up in no time!

They are beautiful! I'm glad I'm not the only one that did this (I made an 8x5 block)! Hugs, Sheree

Okay, here's the list that goes into the week 6 drawing. I have to be sure I have everyone, so if you aren't on here, last call!!!

I also need to start the blocks for Week 8. I can't believe I'm behind already. If anyone has them done (Lacelady???), can you please post them along with any hints you have on construction or challenging areas? Feel free to start a new thread, just title it as they are, and put in the week's blocks.

    Thanks all!
