Don't forget when you are working on this week's blocks...the circle you place on E5 that Blue Chicken did a fantastic tutorial on circles. Lacelady mentioned it in her post above, and I used it and it was perfecto!!! The tute is in the virtual section for the "Famous Jane Stickle Quilt". I'll go look for it and post it as a link too!

    Back again...here you go:

Love everyone's blocks! I've got to get busy. I've fallen behind.

I just want to encourage everyone, I am not trying to rush, but I know that I have to visit my MIL soon and son will be home for Easter break, so while I was feeling well I got on with the blocks. Especially as I sew in his bedroom, so having him home is lovely but frustrating!!

I re-did TR9 ESQ. It looks much better with the new tute.

OMG -- everyone's blocks are so wonderful!! Haven't seen this BOM before (where have I been?). Anyway -- where do you find the patterns? Do you need special rulers, etc.??? :D

We (77 of us) are all doing a reproduction of Jane Stickle's quilt that she made in 1863. The patterns were published in book form under the name of Dear Jane. There is now software available too, and a set of rulers, one for the blocks and the other for the triangles. We started on 1st Jan, but there is still time to catch up if you want to join us.

Thanks for re-posting Blue's tute Esq. I lack that block for this week only. I have a couple that I'm going to re-do...I just don't like them though.
