    Oh my! thanks for the compliments on my Chocolate Jane!Well dee...you know that you put your intentions in Black and White now...so....you GOOOOOO Girl! We'll be here to cheer you on! Now, you better hurry off and get started. That sounds like a fantastic project!

    Looking at your blocks, I have one question :? Can I still use four blocks to make pattern or must they be single stand alones? Duh wrong answer

    Not quite sure what you mean. No two blocks are the same in DJ each one is individual and different. Are you planning on making just one block and repeating it? How big to you plan to make your DJ original is 89 x 89"

    haven't seen it recently. Tried to find apicture in library but.......
    will look online for book. I knew that I couldn't but thought I'd try...lol

    Well, some libraries do have the book...you'll be able to find it online though. Here is a link to search results that will show you LOTS of DJ quilts http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...&go=&form=QBIR Yours will be "yours" though, so you can do anything you'd like with your quilt. If you'd like to make 4 squares to make a block, I don't see why you couldn't. You did say you just wanted "jane-ish"..so your 4 blocks would be pretty small to end up with a finished 4 1/2" block.
