Jan your blocks are so nice. Isn't it fun seeing them all laid out?

I'm still stuck on Week 13. I think it's just pure fear and dread driving me here!

I am thinking about dropping the plain background fabric, as it seems too light. I have about 5-6 cream fabrics, that I think I will use on the backgrounds, the other colors are dark greens, reds and blacks. I think I have plenty of fabric to finish the quilt without the plain light tan. I am not doing any blocks over to change fabric, the finished ones go in the quilt!

What do you ladies see when you look at my group?

We bought the patterns, there is a software package many of us are using to print the patterns and some ladies are using the book. On the main thread there is a schedule we are following. Come join us, there is still plenty of time as this is running until the spring of next year.

I see a beautiful array of creams/tans/ for the background, and I like the light. If you drop using it completely, then the few you have made may stand out too much, you know? You will be able to gauge it as you go by putting the group shots like this together. If it starts to stand out too much, you can always start adding a few more in. I love your backgrounds, and am so impressed that you've been able to keep the tone so perfect with the use of a variety of fabrics. I'm using the same fabric over and over because i'm too afraid to mix it and blow it. You've got the magic touch with yours!
