I was clearing the decks today, so to speak. (My sewing room is now a total disaster!)
Anyway, decided to go ahead and make this block since it is an "easy" block! Well, multiple 'frogging' sessions later it's together. I really have goofed this block up. I wanted the red as the main fabric. That's a good choice. I wanted the white print for the light. Good so far. THEN, I picked that blue without even considering that it should be a medium color and not dark. Sigh! It is what it is! What it isn't is pink!
Just a word of warning to everyone. It's an easy block so be sure to read the directions!! I think I was acting like a 'know-it-all' and that is why I spent so much time ripping seams this afternoon!

I agree with Patrice the blue is perfect. Also you are definately not alone in the rip/resew department either. I did the same on the Frolic BOM earlier and it was suppose to be simple too. Well, for me it wasn't a frolic. Looking forward to seeing more. This block is lovely, you did a great job.
