On Sunday I got on a roll with my January block. Decided to quit for the night when I cut wrong line as I was pp. An hour later I tripped on a rug in my living room and sprained my right thumb badly. That joint already has arthritis pretty bad. I won't be be sewing, writing, rotary cutting or driving for a while. Sleeping last night was touch and go all night. Yikes. But, so far I am pleased with my section that I did finish.

sewextremeseams, I love the start to your block, I know it is going to be awesome.
I also did a B&W block but I am not home and having a terrible time downloading pictures to my Mom's computer. She does not have WiFi and it is driving me bonkers. I think I have to head to the nearest McDonalds... Or take my chip to Walgreens and have the pictures put on a disc. Technology does not seem to be my friend this week!

Thank you for your kind comments Difergerie, Mary and Ronda. I want to sew SEW badly. May be tomorrow!
I know how frustrating it is to be visiting and not have access to the technology we are used to.

I am so glad I am back on the quilting board. It has been several months after my dad's passing so I am looking forward to being back. I loved the photos so far. I may have to try one myself. Thanks to everyone for sharing. Teresa

At last! Here is my finished block. My main problem in completing the block, was picking the fabrics. Red, white, and blue? Pinks? Decided on a more 'manly' combination in case I want to give it as a gift to one of the grandkids, sons, SIL's, etc.
I probably would never make a whole quilt using this pattern, but it was fun to do and to practice those 'Y' seams. Can't wait to see what's next!
