when you have such good advice to share ... don't fret about the length of your post. besides ... i'm pretty sure my record still stands. i've put up posts that took at least half the screen. (and usually not nearly as useful as the points you just shared. [ :lol: ] amazing that they haven't run me outta town on a rail by now. :lol:

I did do the block - I guess the little engine really could ...lol I am not too proud of it it has some issues - but I DID DO IT!!

There are so many truly beautiful blocks being shown! Thanks so much for sharing!

I have to say, I love your use of the solid fabric! Solids don't seem to get the use or attention they used to, not that I can blame them. There are so many lucious fabrics out there now and solids seem to take a back seat when it comes to the printed fabrics. That said, I just love your printed blue fabric! :lol:
