Love your colors, Leslee. :) I especially like the purple. Did you paper piece this or regular piece it?

Either way, you have done a great job on it. :) :)

ccbear, that pink in the middle really stands out and makes the block. It's beautiful. Maybe half square triangles are not so hard for us after all. :)

I agree, they are all so pretty. Who's afraid of those bad ole triangles and geeses?!

Fun block! I was scared from all the initial comments! Ya big babies! LOL!

I wish I would have used fabrics that would have shown my matched seams better! So proud of me! LOL!

Try it, you'll like it! Thanks Connie!

    Chele,
You should be proud of that block. It's beautiful - so lively. I love your choice of fabrics - they make the block come alive and move. Beautiful points - great job. :D

Chele, that fabric is AMAZING! The center of the block sure is an optical illusion-- it jumps right up to a point.

Connie, I did end up paper-piecing. I've become allergic to templates and this block was just soooo fast and easy to graph out and piece in rows. I did make it smaller than 12". I think it's a shade smaller than 8". I make a lot of wallhangings and blocks around that size work best for me.
