45 pieces Ruth?!! I'm glad I didn't read that before I tackled it. But just look how everyone mastered it! Perfect points, great fabrics, color schemes I have to try, etc.! Ceannastahr, yours is a beauty. Are you going to make a whole quilt with those fabrics? I love them!

Well I'm not the over achiever this time. Honestly I am considering it. I just wish I could see in my mind what it would look like as a quilt.

Okay, I'm blaming all of this on Chele. I went back and relooked at my Hayes Corner and decided to try one more block out of that fabric box. Here's what I got and I now, publicly am saying Thank You, Chele! I am liking my original choice much better and I would never have tried another block without your sweet words.
Of course I had to build another Jan. 1, block to go with my new color choices. Now it looks as if I'll be building two blocks a month!
    Like I said, It's all Chele's fault!

I am loving all of the BOMs posted here. There are so many beautiful blocks using gorgeous fabrics. Yummy!
It's great to see so many not being intimidated by this block. Nothing to be afraid of at all!

I'll take that blame any time Yvonne! I knew you could do it girl! But now I'm drooling twofold! Or threefold if you count last year. You should quilt me a drool bucket! They're really pretty Yvonne. Keep going!
