Great job Toni! I love the way the colors pop. Are you carrying them through to the rest of the quilt or are you making this a scrappy quilt?

toni, toni, toni. you silly girl. first of all, you are obviously NOT a flunkie. that's a great job! second ... if we don't challenge each other with the blocks, those of us who are flunkies would still be flunkies a year from now.

i like the blocks that bring out the sailor in me. i get to let off steam. i learn something new. AND i have a nice block to use when i've strugglin' and sufferin' all the way through G-d's little reminder that i might have been feelin' a bit too big for my britches when i started.

Here is mine. This is a fun block and I'm considering making a few more and making a small wallhanging or something from it.

Thanks! I'm really liking the batik the more and more I use it. The fabric is great for not stretching and lends itself to perfect points. Gotta love that!

    newquiltertoni,
If this is what you consider flunkey work then please take me under your wing and teach me. You've done a great job with this block.

Everyone has. And I'm in awe of the variety of colors, fabrics and great workmanship everyone has displayed with this block.

    Connie
