haven't been on here for ages. just checking in. my 2nd baby jane is off the hand quilting frame. i hand quilted just the 4.5 in blocks. now, it's scalloped, and i am quilting the plain tri's and sashings on the sewing machine. i just knew i would never get this 2nd jane done in my life time!!!!! But now, if i die tonite, it can be used by someone!!! so it CAN be done.

this one was like two yrs in the making i believe. And, yes, i've made a dozen + quilts and a farmers wife quilt during these two yrs.

Wow, sewNso, that's quite an accomplishment! Congrats to you. Would love to see pictures when you can post.

I'm big stitching mine, quilt as you go, and have spent some time getting all the back pieces cut out and ready for me. I haven't had time to work on it lately, thought.

My BJ is at the quilters .I usually hand quilt but wanted this on finished quicker so sent it out. It will be ready the last of this month. Cant wait. lol. I call it BJ singing the blues, Made all in various shades of blue and set together with a creamy off white. I also left off the large triangle border. I didnt like it with those on. Will put them on something else maybe. lol

BUMMER!!! So close, yet so far. . . I'm going to be near the museum while on vacation. But the quilt will not be on display while I'm there. SO disappointed.
