jaba - I'm always in for margarita's, and let's order up some pollo fundido - we can have it delivered at the next station when we stop for provisions.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I guess Sept is a weird month as mine passed away in Sept back in 2001. Can't wait to buy my material. Darn I am envious of all of you. But I will be satisfied looking at all your work.

Judy, I also cut up to the next inch like you....so I will go to 7". It makes sure that I get a very pretty square that looks perfect. LOL.

7 sounds good to me also..... just better than having 'leftover' squares that are 'off' ...... and all the little trimmings go in the bag for stuffing the pet beds for the shelter....a win / win IMHO.

Thanks Judy, this is fun !!!!!!!!

I too keep all my scraps for dog beds -- right now I have 4 large black yard trash bags full of scraps and stuffing cutoffs - both of the charities I sew for make beds for the local animal shelters. Such a good project, all those poor little animals not having to lay on cold hard concrete. I really need to haul them out of my garage!

my original fabrics were too small
have hunted through stash and decided on a childs quilt because that size is perfect for our vintage youth bed........do these work, it is like a color book theme.

Ahhhhhh! I hate when these things don't update to my email. Ok, I just printed the instructions of Clue 2. Yayyyy! Ready to get started, this is going to be so much fun. Are we posting pics somewhere? Maybe Flickr or here?
