Okay everyone, here is the BOM for July 1, I was ready for the 15th but did not have anything picked out for now, being we are on the forth. So I tried to find something a little patriotic. Here it is. Have fun

I will start making one now.

Okay, I see no comments. Well it's the N.Star so you can make it Christmasy, or 4th celebrate or anything you want. It's not too bad. :D

DonnaRae - that is a beautiful block.

Some of us may find it a bit daunting but we should all try it! I hope no one is turned off because it says paperpiecing - the paper piecing for the corner blocks is as easy as it gets - 3 strips. And the piecing directions for the star are very detailed so we just need to go step by step. The color possibilites are endless. I say go for it!!!

    Uh..Donna,
The first line for this block says to try out the paper piecing page first...
    Aarrgghh...
You gotta know how some of us are a bit frazzeled with paper piecing.
It is a bit daunting but beatuiful block.
I may give it a whirl...but am trying to get my several WIP done so I can move on to new and beautiful, fun things.
    Thank you...
    K

    i LIKE it. :P

as always, i encourage everyone to give it a shot - especially those who've been putting off their first attempt at paper piecing and or y-seams. we don't learn until we challengE ourselves.

if you just can't cope with the concept of either one ... watch this space. i'll cook up some directions for alternate methods. i should be able to have it posted by Sunday.

I'll bet ShellyQ has a trick or two up her sleeve already, too. (hint ... hint ... hint  )

Lol That was very subtle Patrice ........ not  . Yep, I'll prob play with it a bit cause I's allergic to Y-seams. Seriously tho that's a great block Donna and I might even be real brave and practice some Y-seams
