I know what Susan S chose. She may not have had a chance to get to her computer today.

i won't post it for her just yet in case she's changed her mind since letting me know what it will be. let's give it until 1:00 this afternoon, eastern USA time.

Apparently Marcia Hohn didn't like me passing on her Free Quilt block patterns. I got a message about it. Please if you want go there yourselves.

at www.quilterscasche.com It was the cubed lattice design. Or I can pick a different block. I have one of my own. I just have not put it together yet.

I go there all the time and today I got a message that :

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
    Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
    The website is encountering problems.

seems weird because we all use it alot and I know we have used it 90% of the time for our BOM

i haven't been able to connect to that site, either. never fear ... it's a public domain block and can be seen at many sites. here's one

Susan, will you post the a new thread for it, please? So folks will know it's up and that it was your pick. :P

I do not know. I had a message when I went to the block I had saved. It was a pop up saying something about copyright infringement. I would have thought passing on her free block and web page listing as it was. would be a referral not an infringement. So I don't know I can pick another block. today and get it up for us. I'd like to pass along one I designed but have not had the time to try it. So no instructions are available.

Let's try this one. Janet Wickell 's patterns are colorfual and inventive but also more simple that they appear.

    http://quilting.about.com/od/quiltpatternsprojects/ig/Free-Quilt-Block-Patterns/Garden-Maze-Quilt-Block.htm

I just do not know how to get this to link yet. There is also one in her index called girls choice we might try.

Oh never mind, it did make a link so cool. Does any one with a quilting program want to plug my design into it? I have it drawn out on graph paper in two different sizes in contrasting colors.

I might say everything else be danged and sew for a couple days.

We are trying to pack and work and get ready to tear down the house. to re sell the lot and buy some acreage out of town. Where by gosh and goll durn I WILL get that sewing room finally.

I even told my hubby I'm appropriating some cash for a long arm. And I'm also going to put him into a 4 c or 6 cyl. fuel efficient vehicle So he can park that dang deuly with a 400 something engine in it. In the mean time I am doing little more than drooling over quilt patterns ans buy ing fabric for my stock pile wheneve I can afford a yard :( :D

I managed to get on the Quilters Cache site .....apparently there was a short circuit and fire causing an explosion in a data centre of the company where the QC server is located! All power was cut so 9000 servers were shut down!! So now we at least know why we coudn't get on it!
