NDQuilts, I might be even worse as I don't have the patterns, fabric and blocks in one place. It's all over my living room At least all blocks are together so I have no problems finding those!

I have done the same thing Victoriaplum but with just the cut pieces. My blocks are not sewn together yet.

I have a large freezer bag that is 14 X 14 and I put all my pieces in there. When I finish a set like 1-6 I staple the instructions so that I know that is complete and then that goes in the bag too. I have several other BOM's that I am doing so I have to keep them separated in plastic bags that are labeled. I had tried cutting out the pieces from one fabric first and then go back and do the other fabric but for some reason two of the blocks had pieces that did not fit and were the wrong size. Thinking I had switched them I looked at teh instructions. NOPE....not one pattern called for the size I had. LOL......must be those darn senior moments creeping in. So I have decided to cut all the pieces for each pattern as I go.

Semi organized here. I have the patterns downloaded onto my PC in their own folder (and will add the pictures to the same folder), but the paper patterns that are my "working" copies are just in a stack in my sewing room. I wrote the date I completed each block in the upper R corner so I know it's done.

My blocks are taped to the wall in the spare bedroom. I have a case of "too many projects" right now and my design wall is already full of two quilts that I finished piecing and I'm now either contemplating the quilting pattern, or practicing the quilting pattern. In fact when I go home tonight I need to set up a second sewing machine to piece this quilt on, then I can keep my Janome set up for FMQ. I hate switching back and forth.

You have to download them yourself. Part 2 is on the Dear Jane site of Brenda Papadakis: http://www.dearjane.com/just_takes_2.htm

Anael - love your red/white blocks! I really like the red print your using. I had considered doing the project with all one color and then I looked down at my scrap bag and figured it was time that I started emptying it!!

But I REALLY like the red and white
