Thanks for the information. I went and downloaded the two blocks and will purchase the first two. I am thinking of a blue and white for my colors. Or maybe scrappy. Has anyone done any in scrappy yet that I can look at?

OK I've got mine printed off, can't wait to get started this weekend. There will definately be some challenges for me with these blocks especially number 16. But that's what I like, to learn new things through these quilt alongs. Things I would probably never attempt on my own, I try to avoid anything that looks to difficult for me.

I will post pictures next week hopefully, right now I have dial-up internet, it is soooooooo slow, but Monday I am suppose to be getting high speed, I can't wait!!

Good luck everybody on our next set of blocks!!

Did anyone notice the note put on the dear jane site about putting the last two together? I was wondering since blocks are coming out a 1/4" too small if we put a 3/4" unfinished strip in between the two if that would look ok. It would give me the size that it is supposed to be, but just wonder if the strip would work. Any thoughts out there???

I don't know brookemarie. I think I will wait with putting it all together. If you put a 3/4" unifnished strip in between those two you would have to put a 3/4" strip on the top or bottom of the block too. As long as I don't know how they planned to put everything together I will leave the block as it is now and not sew the geese on that block.

I think I'm going to wait until I see the whole thing and then decide. I may decide to put mine together differently ... I tend to not always follow patterns (or recipe's, or my Nav Lady (but I love to her say "recalculating")).
