I have 20 blocks all sandwiched together, still trying to decide how I want to quilt it. The backing is lemons and limes.

Oops, should be under the Hayes Corner and I don't know how to move it!

Let me check my notes, and will double check them also. Will post when I do, maybe the next day or so. I'm figuring up the yardage to make a full quilt of the woven ribbon (again).

Ok here is my 1st attempt. I had a problem with one line being off. So I unpicked it and redid it only to realize the other line was off. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have a feeling it has to do with my 1/4" seams not being uniform. I just need to practice that a little more.

    Thanks for looking.

Mine is not EXACTLY the same. It is a variation on the theme, but mine was called ribbon stars. It was featured in an old issue of Quilt Magazine. It was made for our youngest son's college graduation about 7 years ago. It was machine pieced and hand quilted--quenn size.
I now know a faster method besides the set in triangles. If I were to do it agian, I'd use flying geese instead of those triangles. Some points got chopped off, but that's life!
