Does anyone know if all the house blocks are going to be 10 inches. I don't want to start the blocks until I know if I need to add to them or leave them the way they are.

no I think everyone is doing whatever they want...I wanted a border on mine which makes it the 12/ 1/2...Some are sticking to the 10 inch I assume since I see allot without borders...Just is whatever size you want...

Ok...I just checked January and February blocks and they are 10 in....... I was afraid I was suppose to make them 12 1/2 in. Glad you brought it to my attention!

This is my first BOM and in the introduction I think it was sulubug said that the blocks were going to be 12 1/2",

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-85213-1.htm

I don't mind that but if they are all going to be 10 inches I would rather make them all that size since I want to put them into an actic window setting. I suppose the other people who are choosing the blocks don't know what they are choosing yet though. So far the blocks are nice and the ones made up are beautiful.
    Thanks for your answers!

I prefer to make the blocks 10 in. rather than adding to them now to make 12 1/2 in block. But what happens if and when we get a block that isn't PP and the original size is 12 1/2 there may be some type of math involved to convert back down to a 10 in block

I have enlarged all my blocks to be 12-1/2". I have never made a quilt with large blocks before, but these really do look nice.

Got my old red barn constructed. I did learn I should never, never PP when tired. Noticed the next morning the silo has some lopsided shingles. Used the seam ripper enough on this so it'll have to stay. I'll just have fun with it.
