    I like the way my Alaska Star turned out and I am getting better at paper piecing, should have lined up the center better but I do not mind it and will work on that more later.

    Here is my March BOM Alaska Star, finally finished. Mine came out 12-1/4" (short), but the pattern printed out at the correct measurement. When all stars are finished, I will trim all to be the same size.
    All of mine are going to be chocolate with the same unbleached muslin background.

    It always seems to amaze me that the exact same block can look so different just due to the color choices.
