yes it was much easier to match without all the pieces in the outer edges.. and i like this one much better.. not so busy! I only have 9 more of theses to make to put in the quilt.

Yes, very much so! I was careful to use pins to match up the the corners... and it was much easier to do with out all the other pieces on the strips.

Using stash and ran out of first one green then the other. It needs to be redone, to much orange, and does not play well with the rest of the group. I wanted the outside edge to be solid, but didn't have enough green. Made it wider and squared it off to 12.5 inches.

I am really having trouble with this block. Help!!!! I can't get in my mind where the flower appears. How did you all satisfy your thoughts on placement? I'm totally lost.

I had the same problem, I did not want to see the cats  I took a copy of the pattern and some colored pencils, it helped. I think the fabric choice helps too, so I used a floral fabric. After looking at the picture I posted I plan to redo it and put my white background where the orange is. Go through the posts and look at all the blocks posted, that should also help.
Have fun and enjoy the journey.

If you go back to quilterscache and look at the blocks joined together, I think you will see the flowers appear.

Thanks girls. I will take your advice and let you know what I come up with. I thought the flowers would be there once you put the blocks together but in using just one block I am totally lost. Guess I'm just having a brain freeze!!!!
