I had to sneak onto the board from work. Just couldn't wait any longer to see what the first clue was.

In all the years I have quilted I have never done a scrappy. I have a whole tub of scraps, so guess it is time to get out that tub and get to work on using them up.

Here we go...the train is leaving the station & I'm on it! WOOHOO!! Now, gotta put my thinking cap on & see what I can come up with...scrappy? Controlled? Hmmmm...... Lots of choices!
Hey, it's 5 o'clock somewhere, right?? Time for a little Merlot. Just dropped a couple bottles off in the club car for those that like a little help in choosing their fabrics.

Paper: Really like your choices. I'm a little concerned about the scale of the focus fabric. I would love to use some of the fabric I couldn't live without and now wonder what to do with. How big is too big? If the focus is going to be cut into small pieces then I could end up with a fabric that is a different color everytime I cut it. Judy, if this hint would not give away too much it would sure help me make a decision.

I'm on board. I'll put out the homemade peach salsa and tortilla chips in a little while.

Not sure I want to do a super scrappy. Judy, will this work with two contrasting colours for your "scrappy" part and then two other complementary colours for the sashing and border?

Oh boy, I have been meaning to divide up scraps. I had bought a round, medium-sized rattan hamper and just dumped scraps into it. I had tried to sell them one year for a dollar a bag, but no one wanted them. I do have some small packs of 2.5" charms also, hrm...

Oh I got some Riesling and Moscato for the liquid diets
