I'm so excited to take another ride on the mystery train. I got some batik for Christmas and am hoping that I can use some in this new project. Just a little over an hour to wait. Yippee!!!

As I read this I realize I am getting more dramatic as I write. Time to get back to Earth and calm down. No more coffee for me this morning! (Barb in Louisiana) .
I've been tempted to jump on this train ride too even though I'm in the midst of the BH Mystery Quilt. I may just hide out in the baggage area and listen to the discussions. How long does this train ride last? I've never joined before.

Carol I'm in your boat on the BH mystery, still have hundreds of units to sew and then the all but one block and 4 sashes to assemble. Did those measurements for the square in square work for you?

I will do my usual lurking on this train, and probably use the block for a boom swap block or two.

Barb in Louisiana: I was up and checking the schedule too. . I know it's usually 9 CST when she posts but for some reason I was going back an hour Instead of forward this time! Lol!

Carol in WI: Paintmejudy will give us info on how many weeks, fabric ideas, etc in today's clue.

"Smell the Material?" Yes, definitely after using Best Press... it smells heavenly. But before pressing don't forget to "Fondle the Fabric!" lol

Just the opposite... its for the microwave because it contains no metallics or glue... just pure 100% cotton. However, it is more expensive. My fav batting for any quilt is "Quilters Dream" batting "Request" loft. Its a very low loft, soft and pliable, yet cool enough for the heat here in FL. And like it's name, its a dream to quilt and reasonably priced.
