Great contrast! I can see that yellow star perfectly. Lovely block!

I'm having a hard time picking out my hourglass block for May. I know that I'll find the right one, just not yet.

Hey, dublb.....we picked the same fabrics! I might have some additional, not in that collection, but it's blue, yellow, and white for me!

I'm using some that aren't from the collection also. Aren't they devine? These fabrics are my DM's favorite colors. This will be her quilt. I'm trying ta decide if I should let her quilt it or not. I think she will like quilting something for herself but wonder if she would want it quilted from me? She might like the fact that we did it tagather. Hmmmmmm I've got a year ta decide. I want ta give it to her for Mother's Day next year. What do you have planned for 'em?

I've just always liked these colors in a quilt and might keep this for me. I originally started collecting these fabrics last year when I started a Saturday Sampler at the LQS. I chose Thimbleberries, but then decided that I should make the squares in these colors, too. Well, never got to it, and figured this would be good motivation. I am going to use the same patterns as Sat. Samp., but will add about twelve more.

Oh! That is so pretty! I have my May block cut out, but not sewn & guess what? It is the same block as yours! I'm tearin' up vinyl tile & the linlolium that the tile was laid over, right now. We will then put some better vinyl tile down. I guess I'm gitten further behind. Maybe I'll do May's & June's blocks at the same time.
