Oh boy I will be busy doing this one too. I counted and this is the 8th BOM/BOW I'm doing! I will have to think of what background to use for this one.

Okay, those of you doing lots of BOMs - let us in on what you are doing, please. Some of us who have not participated in one before want to know what the pull is to do these.

I am looking forward to this. Seems like March is so far away. But I know the time will fly. I hope I can keep up.

Count me in for this one. I'm also doing the "Just Takes 2", so far I really like this one. Can't wait to get started on this new one.

I joined the PC to have goals & learn a new technique. They are a little harder than I expected, but I am learning a lot! I found that I really like the camaraderie that came with learning together. I like knowing that at a set time I will have all of the blocks done & ready to put together into a quilt. I have a tendency to get restless, stop what I'm doing to start a new technique. That's how I got several UFO's, so I'm hoping that this will keep that restlessness at bay. We are on week #7. We'll have 90 blocks sometime in Nov. Enough for a queen size quilt. I'm looking forward to this BOM because these blocks will be much easier than the PC ones & 1 a month won't be hard compared to 2 a week. I want this one to be for my DM. I'm thinking that she will want to quilt it herself (if not I'll do it.) She doesn't piece & usually hand quilts 1 quilt a year. I think that she needs one for herself.

dublb, I don't know if these blocks are easier than the PC ones. From what I understand they use the mentioned blocks as a base for a monthly theme so it might be a bit harder than you think. But one block a month is easier! It's nice to make this one for your DM.

@quiltmom: a list of my BOMs: Dear Jane, Sylvia Bridal Sampler, Farmers Wife Pony Club Sampler, Just Takes 2, monthly BOM here on the board, HGTV BOM, Funky Chickens from fatcat and now this Quilt Story one Enough to keep me busy LOL. I'm still working on Oh My Stars from Planet Patchwork (started when all sets were posted).

Thanks for sharing the reasons for BOM projects, and your projects. Sounds like you have a lot going on! Maybe one will be enough for me for now. I am sewing for others (wedding attire) as well as myself. So my quilting time is somewhat limited. I do look forward to the challenge of having to accomplish what someone else plans.
