Yay! I have fabrics for the first 6 blocks cut and ready to go. Papers through 70 are printed, through 50 are cut and measured. I will be cutting more tonight.

Oh wow! I don't have anything cut, or even really picked out fabric wise. I'm planning to sort of play it by ear as I go... Should I be more concerned about cutting fabric in advance?

I'll be cutting fabric for the first two blocks today. If I have time before we start, I'll get everything ready for the second set. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself in case I want to change course with the PP paper or fabrics. I'm taking the laid back, go with the flow approach -- which means I'll probably fall behind and miss a block or two that I'll need to catch up on later!

OK just reordered book from Amazon, but delivery not until Aug 8 so guess not getting ahead as I wanted to, so fabric is washed and pressed, here's hoping what I have picked out is OK, wish could do something else to get ready instead of waiting till last minute.

Don't ask me how but time seems to fly by when we're making these blocks and the next thing you know is that you haven't gotten your blocks done for the week

So I had better start digging for my other FWS so I can sew along with different blocks....I could really confuse the newbies, but I won't...

My hubby bought me the book for my birthday and it arrived today. Woot woot!

I am am with some other ladies on here that have never paper pieced before, but have always wanted to learn. So, here I go I am diving in sink or swim.
Since I don't know how to paper piece the notebook think sounds confusing to me.

i look forward to getting to know all of you during this craziness. Lol

huskyquilter--I like to be able to just grab a baggie and sew when I have time. I did that with the Farmers Wife Pony Club quilt and it worked out well so I figured I would do the same thing again. I would suggest at least having the papers printed and cut out so you can pick fabrics/cut and sew....you don't *have to* pre cut! We all do our own thing you will find.
