Question, I seemed to have missed. Are we working on the blocks as they are listed in the book (Aimee, Geneva, Grandma), or alphabetically as they are listed on the disk???

    From the first post....

"We will be doing 2 blocks a week in alphabetical order until all the blocks are done."

That's a good question, My answer would be pure alphabetical..........

Is anyone going outside the box and not using 30's fabrics?

Yes, as some has stated earlier on, batiks and other fabrics were mentioned. Variety is the spice of life, and each is doing their favorite choices. It will be interesting to see what appears with the first posting. I am looking forward to it.

Jeanie---the 2nd half of the book has to books listed alphabetically too. My book is out in my sewing room, so I can't give you the page number, but you will see it changes from the block/letter to block/layout if you flip through.

I just decided I'm not crazy about my first block so I'm going to redo it..I will show both when August 4th rolls around..

We now can have a count down ... 10 days to gooooooooo!!!!

I'm curious..how many of us are starting this journey? Has anyone kept count?
