Hi Everyone ,some of you new to pping may have questions and photos of the situation would be easier to resolve.. please feel free to post them here so we can help you...We cannot PM photos on the Board. I myself am having a problem with block # 2..my seams are all going the wrong way and now I had to remove the paper & flip the seams..I have the corners off 3 times...now I'm hand sewing the seam intersections itself and will them machine sew it after I get it all lined up..I hope it works!!!. ughhh!

Honchey--I know Jan pointed out one that was mis-printed. The others I found are just ones I personally will sew together differently...but aren't "errors"..the blocks will still go together as printed. You mentioned a couple mirrored blocks...I didn't write those down. Sorry.

I also had a problem with Block #2. I'm afraid my centers are not aligned correctly either, but after three trys, I just figured that no one would notice it in the final quilt. There is just so much fabric in the center it is a real trial. It stays not totally aligned. Glad I'm not a perfectionist! I have just the first two done. I have picked out the fabric for my next two blocks, and am ready to cut them out.
I'm not ahead of the game, like so many of you. I just focus on the two blocks for each week at a time. That way I get to do the whole process each week. I like to do it that way.

I have officially began my first paper piecing block ever. It took me all day yesterday to just sew the first block pieces not even sewing it together yet. Lol. Wowser! But I can see how people either love this or hate it. I have to redo one of my pieces because I got confused and sewed the wrong color in a place. Ugh. But all in all I enjoyed the challenge.

When I made my Dear Jane, I made a chart to hang on the wall to keep track of my progress and I just made a similar one for this quilt. It shows how many blocks I've made at a glance and which fabrics I used for each block so I won't have the same fabrics next to each other. That's especially helpful with this quilt since the blocks won't be sewn together in numerical order. I drew the blocks with pencil, so the picture's a little faint, but I hope you get the idea.

What a good idea Katy Bob! I think I may have to do the same. Thanks for sharing with us.
