Evie, that quilt is just to beautiful for words! Guess "WOW" will do it just fine!

    Hugs,

Thanks, everyone for the compliments. I really liked doing this mystery, my first. Judy did such a fantastic job giving easy-to-follow instructions and a lovely pattern. I'm looking forward to her next train ride (unless it's pumpkins -- not my thing ).

    Default Santa's Galore

I just finished this one. Was a UFO that I started 2 years ago for my SIL. Santa's Galore turned out pretty good. I hadn't ever done a braided border. Love the way it looks. Now I'm thinking of doing more of them. Ordered some fabric for the back of the mystery quilts, so they will be getting done in August after our trips.

Take care - be good to you.

Di, thank you so much for remembering my birthday, for the mystery thank you, and wishes for my surgery. I don't know your board nanme or would have sent you a PM. But I appreciate your thinking of me, it was sweet of you -- completely unneccessary, but very sweet.

Judy, glad you got your squishy package okay. Birthdays have always seemed special to me - so have a GREAT one. Hoping surgery goes well and you can just concentrate on healing.

Have heard that it's extra hot there. We are planning a trip to AZ in a couple weeks to get my Dad's condo ready for renting this fall. Can't imagine painting in this weather, but laying by the pool with a glass of wine - YES. Our daughter is going along so that will be a fun but busy time.

Take care - thanks again for the mysteries. Hoping all of mine with be quilted by the time the next one starts.

Default My Mystery Train Quilt top finished today

Here it is fellow travelers. I decided to make mine into a queen size bed quilt. It has now gone onto the pile of tops awaiting quilting. Thanks Judy, I sure enjoyed the train ride and all of my fellow travelers. We sure had a lot of fun.

Just noticed the smudge on the bottom, gotta remember to clean my camera lens more often. Oooops!
