It's actually black check, but still that's the one I was thinking of not using anyway, LOL. And the same thing on the solid! I feel better now, you confirmed my choices, LOL!

lovelyl, love the fabrics. Thinking about a scrappy also. How many squares did you end up with? 32 or 48.

Okay, I'm being the dumb blonde (not my hair color) but I read the instructions. I say32 in one place and 48 in another - someone help!!!

VickiM - when I attached the pics I just went to Reply and used the tiny tree icon (3rd icon from right) to attach the pics.

Everose - the way I understood the directions was to make 32 HST's using light, dark and medium fabrics and then make 16 HST's using background and med/dark fabric. That would make a total of 48 HST's. Now I am worried that I didn't understand the directions - guess someone will let us know!

THis is how I read it, too. If you're doing 5 fabrics, that is. I think the scrappy version is worded slightly different, but still with a total of 48.

do not know what the funny lines are .... they are not on the fabric ....maybe heat distortion...told you it
    was hot here

the scrappy was 16 of scrapy with good contrast like one light and one dark, and 32 of "c" and scrappy
I am thinking about doing that with my collection of wildflower charms

This is so fun! It's the last week of school here and things are crazy! Looking at all the pretties here is just so ... change of pace? Flat out fun? Can't wait to see how everything goes together.

    Love the batiks
Love the lemonade - that will make such a fun table topper.
Coopah - love the pastels - even if the computer makes them more pastel than they really are - so pretty!
SSmiles - your colors look so rich.

I'm sure I missed someone's that I love, love, loved, but ... my brain is full.

32 are "C" on one half and scrappy on the other half
